Local birds species of Sri Lanka

Local birds species of Sri Lanka, Cormorants are beautiful birds that we see a lot. With the help of their sharp beak, they create cavities on decaying plant branches and stems and lay their eggs in them. Crows are also sexually dimorphic birds. Small insects, insect larvae and some seeds are also eaten. "Tock"..."tock"...making a sharp sound, they burrow into plant stems and eat small animals living under the bark of plant stems. Sharp-toned birds. Some call the bird Kotroa as a fact that it has little ability to dig trees, appearing to make a rotten tree stump or inspecting leaves most of the time. 4 each with long claws pointed forward and backward in pairs for walking up, down, and walking on plant stems.Another peculiar place on the body of the sardines is something unusual. These very long tongues help the animals dig up the trunks in the protection of their heads to eat the insects inside. There are 09 species living in the natural environment of Sri Lanka. 2 of these species are unique to our country.
